About Sline

Founded more than two years ago, Sline is a SaaS platform that offers retailers and merchants the opportunity to set up a new method of acquisition by renting instead of buying. The platform therefore integrates financing and the insurance scoring part.

With nearly 40 customers, Sline is growing rapidly. The team has 20 employees and is constantly growing to meet growing demand.

The Sline sales team is divided into two teams: SDRs and Account Executives. This strategy allows targeted prospecting and personalized customer support.

About the interlocutor

Mélissa Mauprivez is Head of Sales at Sline, bringing her expertise to the company.

With a solid experience of 10 years in the field of sales, especially in the IT sector and more particularly in the field of SaaS software, Mélissa has acquired a thorough knowledge of the market.

Mélissa decided to join Sline after an experience of 2 years at by PayFit as a Senior Account Executive.

Why did they use Akimbo

The decision to use Akimbo stems from a crucial need to strengthen the SDR team. After several months of intensive research, including meetings with various recruitment agencies, internal research via professional networks such as Linkedin and co-optation, it became obvious that the profiles presented did not fully meet Mélissa's requirements.

“It started very well with Akimbo, simply because I was chased out on LinkedIn by an SDR who had a totally different approach to the messages I could usually receive and so I wanted to read it, respond and have a moment to chat with this SDR.”

This positive first impression reinforced Mélissa in the idea of engaging in the recruitment process, despite her initial lack of knowledge of Akimbo.

“For the first time I really had the feeling that we were trying to understand what we were really doing at Sline and what were the daily objectives and missions in the SDR post. And that's what allowed profiles to be better qualified.”

After a pre-selection by Akimbo, they carefully considered two or three applications. The exchanges that followed were effectively orchestrated by Akimbo.

The process was quick and smooth. After contracting, interviews with candidates were organized in the following week. Finally, a job offer was offered to the successful candidate within a very short period of time: Mélody Aubry.

Why the choice of Mélody

This choice to recruit Mélody was obvious.

She came with a profile that had already worked in retail, which was a positive point for Sline. Mélody said she was extremely motivated. His willingness to learn and put into practice the knowledge acquired at Akimbo was particularly remarkable.

How did the integration of Mélody happen

Mélody quickly integrated herself into the Sline teams, also thanks to a carefully prepared integration process. Before his arrival, onboarding and pre-onboarding had been planned, with the use of tools such as Notion.

His onboarding also included setting up a dedicated “buddy”, who always accompanies him in his skills development as an SDR at Sline. Workshops, listening sessions and practical simulations are regularly organized to personalize your learning and strengthen your skills.

Weekly rituals are put in place to maintain Mélody's progress and promote her ongoing professional development.
